French football federation - FFF
Based in the iconic city of Paris in France, the French football federation(FFF) was formed in 1919.
As a founding member of FIFA and UEFA, the FFF is responsible of overseeing all the aspects of the game of football in France.
The FRENCH FOOTBALL FEDERATION governs the ligue de football professional (LFP) who manage coupe de la ligue as well as Ligue 1 and ligue 2.
The French football federation also runs youth leagues as well as amateur and professional competition.
Before the commencement of the FFF, most sports were regulated by union des societes francaises des Athletiques(USFSA).
Following disagreements with FIFA, the USFSA was dissolved in 1919 triggering the formation of the FFF.
Aimed at organizing and monitoring the all the football activities in France, the federation helps maintaining a healthy link between the affiliated teams and their involvement in regional leagues of Ligue du football amateur (LFA).
Responsible for approving and suspending all the soccer activities in France, the fff oversees all the football competitions in all the France leagues including the championnat National,ligue 2,ligue 1 and coupe de la ligue.
With the FFF managing several competitions in France, Coupe de France remains the most famous incorporating all the amateur teams in a bid for a ticket to a more professional French league division(s).
Running every aspect of French football, the federation 14 football academies all over France. Among the academies is Le centre Technique National fernand sastre simply known as Clairefontaine.
Rated as the best football academy in the world, clairefontaine has a top notch reputation having produced some of the finest footballers including, Nicolas Anelka, William Gallas, Louis saha and Thierry Henry who has been debated as the greatest player in the history of the English Premier League(EPL).
