Since 2011, PSG have spent more than € 1billion on players transfer and as a result, they have since dominated the French football winning every major domestic title for multiple times consecutively.
With an annual revenue €541m as of 2019-2020, PSG have the 7th highest revenue in the soccer world.
Headed by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thami, who is the ruler of Qatar and Paris saint Germain chairman, he has used the Qatari oil money to boost the clubs financial backbone and thus making the club a tone multiple profitable.
In 2012, PSG signed a nation branding agreement with the Qatar tourism authority. On that deal, the Qatar government agreed to pay PSG €1.075 billion for five seasons including €100 million for the season.
In 2017, PSG acquired Neymar Jr for €222 million making him the most expensive transfer in the history of football.
Since 2011, PSG have had a very steep rise in revenue and it gets even better every year.
With Qatar investment authority on board, the future of Paris saint Germain could not be better. Having won the France ligue 1 title for 9 times, PSG is still eying on the bigger prize in European football, the Uefa champions league.
